Most people only ever see the desert in daylight. On the Night Riders dune buggy tour you see it the way our guides love it most: dark, quiet and wide open, with nothing but your headlights, the glow of the LED whips ahead and a sky full of stars. You drive a private, self-drive Polaris RZR 1000cc XP Sport fitted with a light bar and Bluetooth sound, and your BNB instructor leads the convoy across the red sand of Al Badayer, the Big Red area on the Dubai–Hatta Road (E44).
The night package is AED 500 per buggy for one hour, and the price is the same for a 1, 2 or 4 seater. Ride solo, share a 2 seater with your partner, or keep the whole family together in a 4 seater. It is a private tour, so no other group joins your convoy and the pace is set around the drivers in your buggies.
Night departures leave at 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00 PM. In the hot months, night is also the coolest time to be in the desert. Would you rather ride in daylight? What Happens on Your Night Riders Buggy Tour?
Arrive at our Al Badayer camp
Meet the BNB team 15–20 minutes before your slot and sign the waiver. Use our camp location pin; the drive from Downtown Dubai is about 55–70 minutes on the E44.
Night briefing and gear up
Your instructor covers throttle, brakes, steering, lights and the hand and light signals we use after dark. Helmets and goggles go on and belts are checked. Our dune buggy safety guidelines explain every check.
Warm-up under the lights
You start on flat, easy sand to get a feel for the buggy and the light bar before the guide leads you onto the dunes.
One hour on the dark dunes
Follow your guide in a tight private convoy over ridges and through bowls, reading the sand in your headlights. Speed and route always match visibility and driver confidence.
Engines off, stars on
We stop high on a dune, switch the engines off and let your eyes adjust. On clear nights, away from the city glow, the sky fills with stars. Then it is back to camp for sandboarding, the camel ride and cold water.

Who Guides Your Night Dune Buggy Tour in Al Badayer?
Every night tour runs from our own camp in Al Badayer under M. Faisal, camp manager at BNB Buggy Camp. Born and raised in the UAE, he has more than 15 years in desert tourism and is licensed to operate and guide dune buggy, quad bike, camel and horse riding activities.
Night routes are chosen by our guides and adjusted to the wind, sand and visibility on the day. Tell us who wants to drive and how much off-road experience they have, and we will set the pace to match. Drivers must be 16 or older and passengers 3 or older (see our dune buggy age limit guide).

Can beginners do the night buggy ride?

Yes. Drivers must be 16 or older, and kids aged 3 and above ride as passengers. The lowest price for a child to ride along is AED 300, which is a 30-minute Polaris ride.

Yes. Night Riders is a private guided tour for your own group. No other customers join your convoy.

At our camp in Al Badayer (Big Red area), Sharjah, just off the Dubai–Hatta Road (E44). It is about 55–70 minutes from Downtown Dubai and 45–55 minutes from DXB Airport.
Is hotel pickup included in the AED 500 price?
No. Private hotel pickup and drop-off is an optional extra at AED 300 for up to 6 guests. You can also drive to the camp yourself; parking is free.
Are sandboarding and the camel ride included at night?
Yes. Every night booking includes sandboarding, a short camel ride of about 5–10 minutes, a photo stop, bottled water, full safety gear and an instructor guide. Our team times them around your departure.
Can I see the stars on a night buggy ride?

What should I wear for a night buggy ride?

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure are refunded minus a 5% bank fee. We confirm cancellations by email, and refunds usually take 7–10 days. You book on WhatsApp and pay on the spot.
