When the sun lifts over Big Red, the dunes of Al Badayer turn a deep saffron-red and the desert is at its coolest and quietest. That is the hour we built this tour around. Our early morning dune buggy rental puts you behind the wheel of a Polaris RZR XP 1000 Sport, a 999cc ProStar twin with on-demand AWD and electronic power steering, for a private self-drive ride across the red dunes just off the Dubai–Hatta Road (E44).
Pick a 1, 2 or 4 seater. The price is per buggy, not per person, and it is the same for every seat option: AED 300 for 30 minutes, AED 500 for 1 hour, AED 700 for 90 minutes and AED 900 for 2 hours. Your BNB instructor leads from the front, you set the pace behind them, and no other group joins your convoy.
Morning slots run between 6:00 and 11:00 AM. Want to be on the dunes for sunrise? Tell us when you book. In Dubai the sun rises around 5:30 AM in June and just after 7:00 AM in January, so we time your check-in to your date.

How Does Your Early Morning Dune Buggy Ride in Dubai Unfold?
Check in at our Al Badayer camp
Arrive 15–20 minutes before your slot to meet the BNB team, store valuables and sign the waiver. The camp in Al Badayer is about 55–70 minutes from Downtown Dubai via the E44.
Safety briefing and gear up
Your instructor walks you through throttle, brakes, steering and hand signals. Helmet and goggles go on, belts are checked and every question is answered before we roll. First-timers are welcome.
Drive the red dunes
You take the wheel and follow your guide in a private convoy, climbing ridges, carving bowls and cruising open sand. We adjust route and pace to the wind, visibility and sand on the day.
Photo stop on the ridge
We pause at a high point so you can take photos with your buggy and the morning light behind you.
Sandboarding, camel ride and cool-down
Back at camp, try sandboarding, enjoy a short camel ride and grab bottled water in the climate-controlled lounge before you head off.

This tour runs from our own camp in Al Badayer, overseen by M. Faisal, camp manager at BNB Buggy Camp. Born and raised in the UAE, he has more than 15 years of experience in desert tourism and is licensed to operate and guide dune buggy, quad bike, camel and horse riding activities.

What time does the early morning dune buggy tour start?
Early morning Polaris RZR slots run between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Your exact start time is confirmed on WhatsApp when you book, and any hotel pickup is planned around it.
Can I watch the sunrise from the buggy?
Yes, if you ask for a sunrise slot when you book. Sunrise in Dubai moves through the year, around 5:30 AM in June and just after 7:00 AM in January, so we set your check-in to your date. Haze and weather can affect the view.
How much does the early morning Polaris RZR buggy cost?
Prices are per buggy: AED 300 for 30 minutes, AED 500 for 1 hour, AED 700 for 90 minutes and AED 900 for 2 hours. The 1, 2 and 4 seater cost the same. Private hotel transfer is AED 300 extra for up to 6 guests.
Can kids join the morning buggy ride?
Yes. Drivers must be 16 or older, and kids aged 3 and above can ride as passengers. The lowest price for a child to ride along is AED 300, which is a 30 minute Polaris ride.
Do I need driving experience?
No experience is needed. Your instructor explains the controls and leads the whole route. Bring a valid ID such as a passport or Emirates ID.
Which buggy do you use?
The Polaris RZR XP 1000 Sport (EPS): a 999cc ProStar twin-cylinder engine with on-demand AWD, electronic power steering and an automatic gearbox, so there are no gears to change.
Where does the tour start?
At our camp in Al Badayer (Big Red area), Sharjah, just off the Dubai–Hatta Road (E44). It is roughly 45–55 minutes from DXB Airport and 55–70 minutes from Downtown Dubai.
What is included in the price?
Full safety gear, an instructor guide, dune driving, sandboarding, a short camel ride, a photo stop and bottled water.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a valid ID. Desert mornings in winter can feel chilly, so bring a light jacket from December to February.
Do I pay online?
No. Book on WhatsApp and pay on the spot at the camp.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure are refunded minus a 5% bank fee. We confirm by email, and refunds usually take 7–10 days.
